Registration for fall classes at UW-Washington County begins next week. New students who have applied and already been accepted, can register beginning Friday, April 11. Returning students can register a few days earlier, with the date dependent on the number of completed credits. Students with 40 or more completed credits can register on Monday, April 7; 24+ credits on Tuesday, April 8; 12+ credits on Wednesday, April 9 and 0+ credits on Thursday, April 10. Registering early helps assure students to get in the classes that they need to complete their degree.
Beginning with the fall semester, students are no longer required to make a $100 advance tuition deposit. A new Terms and Conditions (TAC) process is replacing the deposit. Students will need to agree to the TAC for the fall semester before enrolling in a course at UW-WC. By clicking on the “I agree” button, students will be allowed to enroll in a class. The change was made throughout all of the UW Colleges as the deposit created a barrier to enrollment for some students. With removal of the advance deposit, that barrier is removed.
Fall classes begin September 2. The schedule of fall and summer classes is available on the campus website, http://washington.uwc.edu. To learn more or request to see an advisor, new students and their parents are encouraged to phone the Student Affairs office at 262-335-5201 to make an appointment.
