Degree Information Night at UW-WC Planned for August 8

It’s not too late to sign up for fall classes!

There is still time for adults interested in pursuing a college degree to get started this fall. Degree Information Night at UW-Washington County (UW-WC) is planned for Wednesday, August 8. The open house provides a convenient “one-stop shop” for busy time-constrained adults who can visit anytime between 5 pm and 7pm at the campus located at  400 University Drive (off Hwy. 33) in West Bend.

Advisors from four UW campuses – including UW-Milwaukee, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Platteville, as well as UW-WC will be on hand to provide information and answer all questions. Information about the evening Washington Express Degree Programs (available in both Hartford and Grafton) will also be available.

Bachelor degree programs available at UW-WC include: UW-Milwaukee: Communications, Information Resources, Nursing, and Organizational Administration; UW-Oshkosh: Applied Studies; Liberal Studies with a Leadership Emphasis (accelerated evening program); UW-Platteville: Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.

Starting a college education at UW-WC provides an affordable option for area students, allowing them to live at home and save thousands of dollars on room and board, parking, and other fees. The Guaranteed transfer program helps ensure that all credits transfer.
