The Science & Math Club meets
during the noon hour (12:00-12:50pm) in Room 228.
The
club encourages students’ active participation and
leadership in the group's activities in all scientific
fields and disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry,
Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, Geology,
Mathematics, Nursing, Physics, Astronomy, Medicine, and
Pharmacy.
Established in fall 2000, the club welcomes
everyone and charges no admission. |

The main goals of the Science and Math Club
are to:
- Facilitate and enhance students’ understanding
of science
- Promote students’ active involvement and
participation in co-curricular science-based activities
- Attract, recruit and retain more students in the
sciences
- Help form a scientific community on campus
- Strengthen the links among the science departments
- Build relationships with the local and regional
industry and research institutions
- Assist in improving the teaching and learning
of science on campus
Internship Program:
Student paid internship programs between UW-WC
Chemistry Department and several area companies have been
established. Firms include: Cedarburg
Pharmaceuticals, Chem-Tech International in Random Lake and Serigraph,
Inc. (Research & Development) in West Bend. Additional collaborative projects are being
developed with the local industry as well as area public schools.

He graduated from UW-Madison with B.S. (in 2005) and M.S. (in
2007) in Electrical Engineering.
He is now an Operations Engineer at American Transmission
