Student working at UW-Washington County

Working at UW-Washington County provides you with the flexibility needed to be a successful student.

Types of student employment:

  • Federal Work-Study - Students who have applied for financial aid and been offered work-study on their award letter.
  • Regular Student Employment - Students who may not have applied for financial aid or students not offered work-study on their award letter.

Student jobs:

Visit the employment page - for student jobs and internships. Download the Student Handbook, which includes a job description of all Student Employment Opportunities, including preferred skills, hours needed, and contact person.

Jobs include: Learning Center tutors and desk worker; notetakers for disabled students; campus mascot; IT-computer lab assistant; gym & weight room help; sports officials; campus photography & Facebook postings; business/main office work; lab assistants for astronomy/physics, biological sciences, geography and chemistry; library assistants; maintenance workers; student services clerical work; student ambassadors; and theatre help.
An Information Technology internship is available to one new freshman - includes paid training and employment on campus.
