Scholarship applications are now being accepted for the 2010-2011 academic year at UW-Washington County (UW-WC). The scholarships recognize academic success and help provide financial support for students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership and community involvement. High school seniors, non-traditional age students as well as current UW-WC students are encouraged to apply.
UW-WC has one of the strongest scholarship programs among the 13 campuses that comprise the
UW-Colleges. Over $120,000 in scholarships were awarded to 70 students in 2009. These students included new freshman, returning students as well as transferring students. The scholarships are funded through gifts from community members, foundations, alumni and area businesses and help provide a quality University of Wisconsin education more affordable and accessible.

The deadline for new students is March 19, 2010 and for current students is March 5, 2010. Applications are also available in the Student Services office of the campus located at 400 University Drive (off Hwy 33 West) in West Bend.
