Starting a college education at UW-Washington County provides an affordable option for area students, allowing them to live at home and save thousands of dollars on room and board,  parking, and other fees. The Guaranteed transfer program helps ensure that all credits transfer.

The UW Colleges specialize in providing a strong foundation for students. Statistics have shown that students who begin their studies at a 2-year UW Colleges campus have higher graduation rates than those who begin their studies at a 4-year campus.
