UW-Washington County Campus Festival of Arts is a day-long celebration of visual and performing arts at UW-Washington County (UWWC) in West Bend. The centerpiece of the event is a juried art show with the best work from 25 middle and high school students from Washington, Ozaukee, Dodge, Milwaukee and Fond du Lac counties. The halls of UW-Washington County campus buildings are adorned with 375 pieces of the best student artwork from the region.
In addition, the UW-WC gym is turned into an Artist Marketplace featuring 60 artists from Wisconsin and Northern Illinois who sell their unique works of art. Items for purchase include acrylics, water colors, photography, metal work, hand crafted jewelry, stained glass and wood.
Visual and performing arts workshops will be presented by the Schauer Arts Center staff and Kohl's Color Wheels - a Milwaukee Art Museum outreach activity that engages people of all ages in the creation of visual art. Musical performances from local musicians and school groups will provide entertainment and complement the Farmer's Market featuring locally produced food and goods.
