History Department

Atypical Course Policy

A.        All proposals to tech courses under the provisions of UWC Senate Policy #31

            (Atypical Course Policy) will be submitted in writing to the Chair of the

            Department of History.

B.         The chair shall refer for their recommendation all proposals submitted under the

            provisions of UWC Senate Policy #31 to the Department of History Curriculum

            Committee.

C.        Proposals must receive a positive recommendation from the Curriculum

            Committee and Chair.

D.        Permission to teach a course under the provisions of UWC Senate Policy #31 only

            will be granted if they do not adversely affect current standard course offerings.
