Final Fantasy 12 is the latest in the franchise that started in 1990 (in the US). It is set in the world of Ivalice. The empire of Arcadia invades the kingdom of dalmasca, setting the stage for an epic tale. Princess Ashe fights to regain her kingdom, and enlists the unlikley help of a band of air pirates. The Air Pirates are led by a man named Balflear.
