Come join our Classrooms Without Walls!
We really appreciate your passion for life-long learning, and love that you understand that learning can take place anywhere: in a classroom at UW-Washington, a museum, a historic site, a theater or gallery, an archeological ruin, a garden, on a guided tour- or any place Continuing Education can take you!
We want to hear from you- Tell us where in the United States you would like us to take you!
Welcome to Educational Travel through UW Colleges Southeast Region. Our continuing education department is proud to offer educational and entertaining adventures which support the philosophy of “classrooms without walls”. What does that mean? In addition to a classroom on one of our campuses, we know that learning occurs in many different settings: a museum, a historic site, a theater or gallery, an archeological ruin, a garden, a docent-guided tour or any place that Continuing Education can take you!
This year our travel opportunities will feature the wonder of the United States. We will be heading from the east coast to the west coast, from the Northeast to the Southwest and points in between.
Take a few minutes and look at where Continuing Education can take you this year! Please note the dates for the valuable information sessions for each excursion. Thanks for being a loyal patron of educational travel at UW Colleges!
UW-Colleges Southeast Region
UW Colleges is considering taking a group on an adventure to the Adirondacks next fall. We hope to spend a couple of days in North Creek, NY and then a couple in Lake Placid. We'll explore the splendor of autumn colors, waterfalls and the Adirondacks mountains and do some railbiking with Revolution Rail Company, a fun excursion activity that allows you to ride the railroad tracks under your own power and explore a section of Adirondacks that has never seen passenger traffic. Send an email to email@example.com if you are interested in getting on our pre-registration interest list! Check our website in March to see if we will offer this opportunity in fall, 2018.
