UW-Milwaukee at Waukesha and Washington County Continuing Education is returning to one of its most popular destinations of 2017, The Driftless Region of Wisconsin! We'll head north of La Crosse to the National Eagle Center in Wabasha before visiting Trempealeau’s newest agricultural industry at Elmaro Vineyard. Enjoy another evening at The Charmant, La Crosse’s unique boutique hotel. The next morning, we'll cross the Mississippi to La Crescent, MN and visit its apple orchards. Then, we'll head south on the Great River Road to Prairie du Chien. Based on your feedback from last year, we can’t return to the Driftless without returning to The Driftless Café for dinner en route to Waukesha! Limited to 25 people.
Albuquerque's International Balloon Fiesta

Based on your feedback, we want to take you back to ABQ and help you check off another destination from your Bucket List to see the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta! With 500 plus balloons, the AIBF is the largest balloon festival in the world. You will be there for the spectacular Mass Ascension in the morning, and return at night to see the balloons illuminated by their propane burners at the Night Glow. For an additional fee, you can opt to take your own hot air balloon ride over the Rio Grande Valley with World Balloon. We’ve extended the trip by one day to include a visit to historic Santa Fe for a tour with a Georgia O’Keefe docent and lunch at the historic La Fonda on the Plaza. Don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the many galleries and museums off the plaza. With day trips to living pueblos and beautiful back country splendor, you’ll discover why New Mexico is the “Land of Enchantment.” Package includes admission to Chaser’s Club, an exclusive designated area at the AIBF, four nights at the Hyatt Place, day trips, guided tours, five meals, and airfare.

Join Continuing Education and our fellow foodies on our 9th annual Blues and Greens tour to explore the culture and cuisine of two fantastic destinations, Vermont and Boston. Our group will spend two amazing days in Boston, complete with historical sites, markets, and meals. You won’t want to miss our tour of Boston: USS Constitution, Faneuil Hall, Bunker Hill, Old North Church, Fort Point Art Walk, and more. We will make sure to stop at Fenway Park, Harvard University, before we head to America’s Test Kitchen for a special tour!
After eating our way through Boston, we will head to Vermont and visit the famous Ben and Jerry’s where we will sample some of their favorite flavors of ice cream! Our itinerary is full as we explore Vermont and all of its beauty at the Rock of Ages, the Trapp Family Lodge, Cold Hollow for cider and honey, galleries, farms, a Shaker village, and Saint-Gaudens Historic Site in New Hampshire. We’ll even visit a coffee lab (yes, we are getting to the bottom of that bottom-less cup of Joe).
