Celebrating 50 years - 1968-2018
The first class of students arrived on the Washington County campus in the fall of 1968. Over the past 50 years, the campus has seen four major building additions/remodeling projects - adding a gymnasium, Collins Science wing and connecting all buildings. Our mission of access - in providing a quality University of Wisconsin education- hasn't changed, however.
Today, as a branch campus of the University of Milwaukee - our look and feel will continue to evolve. As Chancellor Mark Mone recently stated, "I am excited about the tremendous opportunities ahead. We will continue to provide access to high quality academic programs, while also delivering seamless transfer to a four-year degree, offering more academic and career options to students, and addressing local needs and strengthening partnerships in our region and Wisconsin."
We hope you are excited too! Please plan to join us as we celebrate the past and look ahead to the next 50 years!
