WCC Academic Teams Announced

New recognition for UW-WC student athletes

The Wisconsin Collegiate Conference (WCC) has implemented a new WCC Academic Team.  To be eligible for this recognition, student athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher and completed at least 12 degree college credits. Students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and completed at least 12 degree college credits qualify for The Distinguished All Conference Team.

UW-Washington County’s Athletic Director, Debbie Butschlick announced that ten athletes qualified for the All-Conference Team and five on the Distinguished team for the fall 2011 season. Students (along with their hometowns and sports) include:
