UW-WC announces Fine Arts Season

The University of Wisconsin-Washington County (UW-WC) is pleased to announce its
upcoming 2014-15 fine arts schedule, with tickets now available online at www.washington.uwc.edu

This year’s fine arts season marks several “firsts” for the campus.  Both Spotlight Productions and Musical
Masquers - two local theatre production companies – have performances scheduled on UW-WC’s stage. Also
a first – tickets for UW-WC shows as well as Musical Masquers and Spotlight Productions will be available for
purchase on UW-WC’s website (click on links below for individual tickets). Patrons may also purchase tickets in person by phone (262)-335-5208, email (wsh-tickets@uwc.edu) or by visiting the campus at 400 University Drive during normal business hours. All performances take place in the campus theatre, located on the second floor of the campus at 400 University Drive in West Bend. Free parking is available in the student or faculty lots.

The complete schedule follows. Prices shown are at the door prices. Patrons can save $1 on individual ticket
sales (with exception of New Year’s Eve show) by ordering in advance. With Pick 4 and season ticket
packages, patrons can purchase tickets at 15-20% savings.

    Five-piece Chicago band, performing a variety of Mexican music, along with dance by local group.

    A musical masterpiece - directed by Jackie Maynard
  • Almost, Maine – Theatre on the Hill
    Thursday-Saturday, March 12, 13, 14, 7:30pm (15 adults, $13 seniors/youth)
    A romantic comedy - directed by Rick Ponzio, UW-WC faculty

  • Miss Firecracker Contest  - Musical Masquers
    Six shows: Dec. 31, January 2, 3, 9, 10, 11 (7:30pm except Sun., Jan. 11 at 2pm)
    New Year’s Eve show includes a buffet lunch at intermission ($25 all ages)
    January performances ($20 adults, $17 seniors/youth)
    Ring in the New Year with this very funny comedy directed by Zach Wood
    Auditions: November 1, 9am (Immanuel Church, West Bend) 
  • Monty Python’s SPAMALOT - Musical Masquers
    Two weekends: July 31 – Aug. 2, Aug. 7- 9 (Fri./Sat. at 7:30pm, Sun. at 2pm
    A musical comedy - directed by Nancy Storrs  ($20 adults, $17 seniors/youth)
    Auditions: May 23 (Location tba)
