Open enrollment for Summer Sessions at the University of Wisconsin-Washington County is underway.

Summer Sessions allow current students and students attending other universities the opportunity to earn credits while enjoying their summer break. Courses offered will help students satisfy degree requirements, reduce average course loads and further explore subjects of interest.

Multiple condensed terms, with unique start and end dates will be available for scheduling flexibility. All credits earned during the sessions are transferable to any University of Wisconsin four-year university.

UW-Washington County summer course offerings include: 

  • ANT 350 – Illness and Healing in Anthropological Perspective: Introduction to Medical Anthropology
  • CTA 298 – Topics in Speech and Dramatic Arts
  • AST 106 – Stars, Galaxies and the Universe
  • HIS 208 – The Film as Social History
  • BIO 251 – General Survey of Microbiology
  • MAT 091 – Elementary Algebra
  • BIO 298 – Special Topics in Biology: Cell & Molecular Biology Research
  • MAT 105 – Introduction to College Algebra
  • CHE 125 – Introductory Chemistry


  • CHE 352 – Organic Chemistry Laboratory


  • CTA 103 – Introduction to Public Speaking




Students are also encouraged to take advantage of the 140+ courses offered through UW Colleges Online.
