Performing Arts Series Announced

2016-17 fine arts brochureThe UW-Washington County is pleased to announce its upcoming 2016-17 performing arts schedule, with tickets now available online.

This year’s series includes four visiting artists and two theatrical productions. All performances take place in the campus theatre, located on the second floor of the college, located at 400 University Drive in West Bend.

  • Sultans of String
    Friday, September 30, 7:30pm 
    ($20 adults, $18 seniors/youth
    Award-winning band from Canada presents a variety of world rhythms.
  • Six Appeal
    Friday, December 9, 7:30pm  ($20 adults, $18 seniors/youth)

    World-class a cappella ensemble with incredible comedic timing and the energy of a rock band!
  • Ryan and Ryan
    Friday, January 27, 7:30pm 
    ($20 adults, $18 seniors/youth)
    Dynamic father-son piano duo blends classic and contemporary for an amazing concert experience. 
  • The Young Irelanders
    Saturday, March 18, 7:30pm 
    ($20 adults, $18 seniors/youth)
    Eight talented young performers (includes former Riverdance members) use authentic Celtic instruments to perform old world traditions fused with contemporary flare.


  • Love in Naples – Theatre on the Hill
    Thursday-Saturday, March 9, 10, 11, 7:30pm ($15 adults, $13 seniors/youth)
    A very fun Italian comedy written and directed by Rick Ponzio, UW-WC faculty
    Auditions: Tuesday, December 6, 6pm (UW-WC)
  • Of Mice and Men – Seventh Row Center, LLC
    Friday – Saturday, April 21, 22, 7:30pm ($20 adults, $18 seniors/youth)
    John Steinbach’s compelling story of camaraderie and isolation directed by Paul Steinbach.

 Season ticket and Pick 4 packages, provide a 15-20% savings over individual ticket purchases.  Prices shown are advance ticket prices. Ticket sales on the day of the show are $2 more. Additional information and ticketing is available on the campus website.  Free parking is available in the student and faculty lots.
