High school seniors as well as non-traditional age students are encouraged to apply now for scholarships at UW-Washington County. Scholarship applications for the 2011-2012 academic year at UW-Washington County (UW-WC) will be accepted until March 18 for new students. Current UW-WC students have until March 4 to apply. The scholarships recognize academic success and help provide financial support for students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership and community involvement.
UW-WC has one of the strongest scholarship programs among the 13 campuses that comprise the
UW-Colleges. Over $105,000 in scholarships were awarded to 75 students in 2010. The scholarships are funded through gifts from community members, foundations, alumni and area businesses and help provide a quality University of Wisconsin education more affordable and accessible.
To learn more about scholarship opportunities at UW-WC or to download an application, visit the campus website at washington.uwc.edu. Applications are also available in the Student Affairs office of the campus located at 400 University Drive (off Hwy 33 West) in West Bend.
