UW-Washington County is hosting two College Preview sessions this fall. High school juniors and seniors and their parents as well as returning adult students are welcome to attend. The two-hour sessions are designed to answer questions about college – including the admission process, financial aid and scholarships. The first session will be held in the morning from 10:30am until 12:30pm on Wednesday, October 20 and includes lunch. A second evening session is planned for Thursday, November 18 from 6:00pm to 8:30 pm. Admission is free, but reservations are needed at least two days prior to the event. College Preview sessions are intended for students who are considering attending UW-Washington County as well as other Wisconsin universities. The two-hour sessions include presentations from Interim Dean Alan Paul Price, Martha Nelson, Assistant Dean of Student Services as well as Library staff, and faculty members. Information about athletics, student government, and student organizations is also presented. Following a question/answer session, a campus tour is available, which includes the Collins Science building and expanded Fine Arts area.
Two additional College Preview evening sessions are planned for spring. The dates are March 17 and April 19, 2011.
