UW-Washington County is hosting two College Preview sessions this fall. The information sessions are designed for high school juniors and seniors as well as returning adult students. Parents are also welcome to attend. The dates are Thursday, September 29 and Wednesday, October 19. Both sessions begin at 6:00pm and last about 2 ½ hours. There is no fee to attend, but reservations are needed at least two days prior to the event. To reserve seats, register online at washington.uwc.edu or phone Student Affairs at 262-335-5201.
College Preview sessions are intended for students who are considering attending UW-Washington County as well as other Wisconsin universities. The two-hour sessions will answer questions about college – including the admission process, financial aid and scholarships. The evening includes presentations from Dean Paul Price, faculty, as well as student services and library staff. Information about athletics, student government, and student organizations is presented. Following a question/answer session, a campus tour is available, which includes the Collins Science building and expanded Fine Arts area.
Two additional College Preview evening sessions are planned for spring. The dates are February 23 and March 22, 2012.
