BA – Communication (BAC)
Bachelor of Arts in Communication (BAC) UW-Milwaukee
Students can complete a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications completely onsite at UW-Washington County. Optional minors may include business and economics.
The program consists of classes at UW-Washington County as well as some Distance Education courses. For more information about the technologies used for Distance Learning, see the section marked DISTANCE EDUCATION INFORMATION in the current UW-WC Timetable, or check out the technologies as described in the UW-Extension Catalog of Distance Learning.
It is possible to complete your Associate Degree while meeting some Bachelor Degree requirements. Introductory courses, such as Interpersonal Communication & Public Speaking (Com 101 & 103), English Composition (Eng 102), and College Algebra (Math 110), are basic to the major. Advanced study will focus on four areas of communication: Applied, Interpersonal -Intercultural, Organizational, and Rhetorical/Public.
