I completely agree with you. Everything changes from one story to the next. First, you try to hide your beliefs than all of a sudden they turn into a trap. Christian allegories fill these stories from top to bottom mainly because of the religious influence that was a major cause for disagreement during that time period. It also kept people closer to the church.
