Money.
It costs around 19$ (Exact information to follow).
Drop by Continuing Education (106) to pay. If they aren’t in, go to the
Business office. I think they hold your grades if you don’t pay.
Time: It's
scheduled from 9am to 4pm. Bad weather or closed roads can affect how it
takes.
Place:
Meet the Bus in the main (lower) parking lot.
Route.
The field trip wanders north through the Kettle Moraine up to the Ice Age
center (where we have a bathroom break) and Parnell Tower (where we have
lunch). Then we head to Terry Andrae Beach, down to Port Washington and then
back to West Bend.
We leave when the schedule says we will leave.
We will not wait around for you. If you are not there on time, we leave you
behind.
Go on the day you are scheduled.
If you miss, there may not be room in the bus on the next trip.
Dress for the weather.
We take the field trip no matter what falls from the sky or how hard the wind
blows. And there are times we will be walking around in the weather. Also,
we’ll also be close to the lake and that can be cool this time of year.
Wear clothes that you can use for hiking.
We will get out of the bus for several walks. These aren’t death marches, but
you don’t want to wear your Sunday best.
Pack
a lunch.
There are three places where we can stop for bathrooms and water, but you’ll
have to take a lunch with you.
Bring a pen or pencil.
There will be questions. You need to take notes (See 11).
Take notes.
There will not be a daily quiz. There will not be a key. But you
will have questions about the field trip on both the last Lab Exam and
on the Final Lecture Exam. All these questions are written questions.
The Trip is worth 30 points.
Just for showing up and being cheerful (see 13).
Be cheerful. You might as well. The trip takes as long as it takes and complaining will definitely not make it go any faster.
