Welcome
to UW-Washington County! Here on campus, we are excited about the
many new developments and opportunities that we are able to offer
our students. The 72,000 square foot Collins Science Wing
completed in 2002, provides students with state-of-the-art science
and computer labs, lecture halls and classrooms. It has also
increased computer
access for students by over 65 percent.
UW-Washington County students have the opportunity to complete
a Bachelor's degree in
Organizational Administration,
Communications
or Information Resources through UW-Milwaukee without ever having to leave the campus. Equally
exciting is our
Bachelor’s of Nursing program that allows students to remain in West Bend for
three of their four years of study.
New in fall, 2006, an
accelerated bachelor degree in Liberal
Studies from UW-Oshkosh is available to our students. Designed
for working adults, classes meet just one night a week at our
campus. A Certificate in Civic and Community Leadership which
recognizes the completion of 24 credits is also available
through UW-Oshkosh.
These changes reflect the extensive cooperation that exists not
only between UW-WC, Washington County and the City of West Bend,
but between our campus and other University of Wisconsin campuses.
The continuing growth at our campus will make an enormous difference, not only
in the lives of students, but also in the well being of the entire
community.
Our growing curriculum, small classes and dedicated
faculty provide students with a high quality education at the
lowest cost in the UW System. We offer a small college atmosphere,
in which students of all ages find ready access to faculty and staff
as well as many opportunities for co-curricular participation and leadership.
Also, our
Guaranteed Transfer Program assures students that they can enter
any four-year campus in the UW system with junior standing
Whether you're a student, a community member, or one of more than
20,000 alumni, we invite you to browse our website, our latest

visit us in person. Take advantage of our
Fine
Arts programs,
Community Lecture Series, or
Continuing Education offerings. You're always welcome at UW-Washington County!
