Welcome to UW-Washington County! We are excited about the many new developments and opportunities that we are able to offer students. The Collins Science Wing, provides students with state-of-the-art science, computer and engineering labs, lecture halls and classrooms. It has also increased computer access for students by over 65 percent.
Our growing curriculum, small classes and dedicated faculty provide students with their best start on a high quality education at the lowest cost in the UW System. We offer a small college atmosphere, in which students of all ages find ready access to faculty and staff, as well as many opportunities for co-curricular participation and leadership. Also, our Guaranteed Transfer Program assures students that they can enter any four-year campus in the UW system with junior standing, allowing a seamless transition to complete their degree.
UW-Washington County students have the opportunity to complete a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Organizational Administration, or Information Resources through UW-Milwaukee without ever having to leave the campus. Equally exciting is our Bachelor's of Nursing program that allows students to remain in West Bend for three of their four years of study.
Through UW-Oshkosh, two bachelor degree programs are available, including an accelerated program in Liberal Studies. Mechanical and electrical engineering degrees through UW-Platteville have also been established.
In addition, the Washington Express degree program provides adult learners the opportunity to complete their associate degree by attending classes two nights a week. Washington Express classes are currently available in Hartford, Grafton and will be available in Beaver Dam in January 2014 . This continuing growth at our campus will make an enormous difference, not only in the lives of students, but also in the well being of the entire county. Whether you're a student, a community member, or one of more than 20,000 alumni, we invite you to browse our website, our latest Viewbook ,or come and visit us in person.
